Social Welfare Board
The Social Welfare Board promotes and maintains the well-being of local residents by providing adequate and properly targeted social and health services. The Board’s responsibilities include day care and pre-school education for children, other services for children and families, institutional services for the elderly, disability care, services for the elderly, food services, substance abuse and mental health work, environmental health care, primary health care, specialist care and other social and health services.
