Return hatch
When the library is closed, the material of both the Kustavi library and other Vaski libraries can be returned to the return hatch next to the front door of the library. Please note that material returned to the return hatch will not be marked as returned until the next opening day, so late fees may accrue from the material left in the door until the return is recorded.
Wireless network connection
There is a wireless network connection in the library’s premises, which is freely available to the library’s customers. The connection also allows you to view the library’s electronic journals on your own device.
Client computers
The library’s customers have access to two desktop computers and five tablets. It is possible to print from another desktop computer. The e-journals provided by the library can be read on all devices.
Reading room
In the reading room you can read magazines, study or spend time. It is also possible to hold meetings for up to 10 people.
Printer, copier and scanner
The library includes a printer, copier and scanner. The copier can make copies in black and white and A4 or A3 color. It is possible to print black and white pages from a client computer. Copies and printouts are paid to the librarian. Scanning is free.
Prices for copies and prints:
- black and white: A4 € 0.20 per page, A3 € 0.50 per page
- colored: A4 0.50 € / page, A3 1 € / page
Interlibrary loans
Kustavi’s library orders material that cannot be found in libraries in the Vaski area as an interlibrary loan. You can place an interlibrary loan in the library, by phone or by e-mail. A library card is required for the interlibrary loan. Interlibrary loan may incur costs consisting of processing costs and postage as determined by the library sending the loan.
