New library system Koha brings new functions to the online library user
With the new system, the library’s customer can cancel reservations in the future. For example, a customer may cancel their booking for the duration of their holiday, in which case the booking will not be picked up during the stay.
In addition, Koha enables the library customer to return the code in the online library. This means that if a customer has forgotten their PIN, they can restore it directly in the online library. So you no longer have to come to the library with your ID.
The open source library system Koha is widely used in Finnish libraries, so its introduction in Vaski libraries will also enable more open co-operation and the development of co-operation between libraries.
